Hi, everyone! My name is Joanna and I've been a part of DramaWay Productions for 4 awesome years.
DramaWay has made a huge impact on my life and helped me strengthen a lot of skills. Thanks to the DramaWay programming like Theatre Classes, I’ve noticed a lot of improvement in my communication, and Dance Class has helped me improve my spatial awareness. My speech clarity has gotten a lot better and I feel like I am able to think more critically and express my thoughts to others in clear ways. This has helped me in my performances at DramaWay, in my time hanging out with friends and family, as well as in the community work and volunteering I do outside of DramaWay.
I’m grateful that DramaWay has helped me get more involved in my community in cool ways. I belong to the YMCA and attend programming regularly and I volunteer at Progress Place, where I get to make a difference and give back. I also work at Lemon & Allspice, where I'm able to use all the skills I've learned at DramaWay in a professional setting.
In the last years of being a part of DramaWay, I've noticed a lot of personal growth in myself. I've become much more patient, both with myself and with others. I think that's a skill that's really important in life, and I'm grateful to DramaWay for helping me develop it.
DramaWay Productions has been an incredible experience for me. It's helped me grow as a person, improve my skills, and get involved in my community in meaningful ways.
I’m also really excited for the upcoming Annual Showcase in June where I will be playing the role of Lois Lane in the Superheroes Unite show. Hope to see you there!
