Hey guys, Abdullah here!! I'm thrilled to share with you how DramaWay Productions has helped me shine on stage and played a big role in building my confidence in myself and around others.I've been part of DramaWay for a few years now, and I’ve loved my time here!
DramaWay has not only helped me develop my performance skills, it has also allowed me to expand my social circle, boost my confidence, and showcase my talents proudly. Through DramaWay classes, I’ve expanded my communication skills and developed my public speaking abilities. And these skills have been super helpful in my volunteer work and community engagements.
I love giving back, so you will definitely find me volunteering at lots of seasonal events like TIFF and other independent film festivals, FanExpo, Comic Con, Luminato, TOAF, Woodstock, and many others. I'm also a huge sports fan and play competitively on weekends. I like to support local theatres by attending musical productions and I go to the movies several times a week! Every year I also do digital film production and assist with editing digital pieces, these have been shown and showcased at ticketed venues and I am really proud of my work!
DramaWay has made me feel so much more independent and confident to seek out these kinds of experiences. Participating in the theatre classes and groups has motivated me to seek out other arts opportunities in the city. And I’m so grateful for DramaWay to have a place to showcase my talents - this year I will be playing the role of Professor Flash X in our Showcase Event in June! I'm so grateful for the impact DramaWay has had on my life, and I look forward to continuing my journey with this amazing community. Thank you for supporting DramaWay and performers like me!
