STRONG CONNECTIONS & RELATIONSHIPS

Hi everyone, I'm Karen, and I'm excited to share how DramaWay Productions has helped me to gain valuable life skills that have helped me grow as an individual. 

I've been a part of DramaWay for almost 5 years now and since joining DramaWay, I've noticed that I feel more confident in my independence and I have maintained strong relationships with my friends and the people I meet. I have met some amazing friends at their programs, and we even hang out outside of class and we even travel to and from the program together now.

DramaWay has helped me become more talkative and open to discussing things with my friends and classmates. I also feel like I’ve become more mature and confident in expressing myself since joining DramaWay. I feel like I can advocate for myself and others, and I've developed stronger connections with those around me. 

At my job, I've become more confident in interacting with customers, thanks to the skills I've gained at DramaWay. Being part of DramaWay has taught me to be more sure of myself and to speak my mind, and I’ve applied that to my interactions in the community and in my personal life. Through DramaWay, I was even connected to OWLware Ltd.’s Food Services and Hospitality program where I learned valuable kitchen prep and cooking skills and earned certifications to work in the culinary industry.

I'm so grateful for the opportunities and support I've received through DramaWay and I’m really excited for all the future adventures in store. Like my role of the Mayor in the upcoming Superheroes, Unite Showcase this June!
