Danielle T. Strnad
Danielle has received media attention for her work from Sheridan College Alumni Magazine, Metro news, Mississauga Arts Awards, The Booster, Canadian Living Magazine, The Annex Gleaner, Rogers Television, The Scarborough Mirror, CBC’s Moving On TV program while also continuing to be recognized by Community Living Toronto as a valuable community partner. She holds a Social Service Worker diploma from Sheridan College, and a BFA degree with a specialization in Drama and Education from Concordia University.
As founder of DramaWay which she started over ten years ago, her programs are well known across the GTA. As the Head Facilitator of DramaWorks, she and her staff teach at various day programs and local public and private schools across the city throughout the school year. Danielle also developed and currently runs the Drama Program at Erinoakkids. This led her to serving as an Adjudicator at Applewood Acres. She operates her PartyWorks program for private parties and community functions throughout the year. Her WigglyWorks and PlayWorks sessions are also enjoyed by many children in and around the community at several Montessori Schools and Child Care Centres across the GTA. During the summer months, Danielle enjoys offering various Multi Arts Camp in and around the city.
Danielle also keeps busy as a singer with the band VASLAV and manages to find time to perform at fundraisers and night clubs across the GTA. She also served as the Pageant Director for over seven years for Kingsway United Church.
Prior to starting DramaWay, Danielle worked for companies such as Children’s Arts Theatre School, Etobicoke Creative Arts and Arts Express Outreach Program. She also worked as a Theatre Specialist/Supervisor for City of Toronto and privately as an Individual Support Worker.
