Ages 9 to 12
GroovyWorks is an exciting creative movement group tailored to provide a creative outlet for children ages 9 to 12. It is a program that blends DramaWays’ PlayWorks and RhythmWorks programming. GroovyWorks is designed to help participants explore the elements of dance and theatre. During GroovyWorks sessions, students will explore techniques from both disciplines. Participants will enjoy partaking in a range of creative movement activities such as pantomime, theatre sports and improvisation. They will also learn specific choreography while being given the opportunity to create their own dances as well. This program gives kids the chance to learn, practice and enhance their:
