At DramaWay we provide process-based arts programs that facilitate social and life-skills development. We are dedicated to providing unique creative programs that help participants expand their artistic skills and grow as individuals in a structured, non-competitive, inspirational atmosphere. DramaWay programs span the realm of the fine arts. Programs offered include theatre, dance, film, music, visual arts and even puppetry. DramaWay provides a creative outlet for both young and old. Using dramatic techniques, participants are led down the paths of discovery. Participants are given the opportunity
to engage in drama and other art forms. DramaWay places emphasis on the process of creation, and the experience of the journey. At DramaWay, we believe that drama allows everyone the opportunity to connect with others in their community, and to learn about themselves while doing so. Our programs aim to promote social development, enhance self-esteem, and improve communication.
We recognize the importance of creative stimulation to the well-being of all individuals. Our mission is to share our passion for the arts by providing structured sessions and workshops focused on creative expression.
DramaWay programs provide:
• A safe place for participants to become more familiar with their personal boundaries
• An opportunity to practice and develop appropriate roles for real life situations
• An opportunity for each individual to stimulate his/her imagination and creative potential
• An opportunity to build on social skills through playing together
